Taskbar icon/text not showing up on windows 11

No matter what option I choose for the "Display battery on taskbar" nothing changes. I've seen it works on some screenshots which were all on w10 (I think, one was hard to tell). Is this the case with windows 11 only? Is there a way of making it work?

Update: it shows up but it's nowhere near the taskbar. It is floating in the top left corner of my uw monitor (maybe it's relevant). Screenshot_1

The taskbar icons don't seem to work in Windows 11, I upgraded to W 11 recently from W 10, and it was working fine before, but it no longer works in W 11 now. @SpriteOvO Can you suggest us a quick fix for this issue?
