What does `pkg-config --libs jack` return?

I plan to take the time in the next two weeks to fix outstanding issues like these and do a new release, so thanks for your input.

Where is the actual error message? This is only a traceback.

The traceback output must have come from somewhere. I believe that's from Python. To me that looks like a truncated exception message.

Or whatever the user configured in `~/.config/user-dirs.dirs`.

I'm trying to understand what this ticket means and if it is related to the problem I'm seeing. Are you saying that built-in presets do not show up in VST...
