SpartanShields shields do not work against projectiles such as skeleton arrows

I am currently running

  • SpongeForge version: 1.12.2-2838-7.2.4-RC4054
  • SpongeVanilla version:
  • Java version: 1.12.2
  • Operating System: PC
  • Plugins/Mods: SpongeForge, SpartanShields

SpartanShields shields do not work against projectiles such as skeleton arrows. Only happens with SpongeForge installed. They do not block damage or take durability. Although the block sound and animation plays so it seems like it is blocking when in actuality it is not.
