Sponge Forge breaks Immersive Posts connected textures

Issue Description

There's an addon to Immersive Engineering called Immersive Posts. It adds custom height posts using a block where right clicking with differents fences creates a post the height of fences added, and blends them (i.e create a connected texture post) according to the original Immersive Engineering posts. However, when combined with sponge forge, posts textures no longer blends, and instead of a smooth post, we get a repeated 1 fence height post.
