ChangeDataHolderEvent.ChangeValue for Item durability

I tried to catch when an Item loose or gain durability, using the ChangeDataHolderEvent.ChangeValue event, however it seems that this event is not firing up for this kind of events. Are there any plans to implement this or it should actually be fired and is not working? If so it could be useful to add such a handler :)
