Question about (permanent) deletion

This is a question (possibly an enhancement). After https://github.com/SpongePowered/Ore/issues/414 (more recently https://github.com/SpongePowered/Ore/issues/453) I'm seeing @mbax who wants to keep things around until the end of time and @simon816 suggesting a "90 day grace period before permanent deletion".

Will this ever be implemented ? Have you guys already decided a way to go ?

I'd like to see the ore team taking a stance on this issue. As a user this could affect whether or not I decide to upload my plugins to ore, so I think it's appropriate to get a definitive answer.

I think we can reasonably do a grace period before a perma-deletion happens. Say... 15 days for file deletion and 30 days for project deletion?

What about backups ? How long are they keep around ?

Whatever decision you decide to take, it's probably good to talk to the docs team and update the privacy policy/ToS
