Splide images not loading in Safari

Description

I am initializing Splide but images don’t load in Safari. I get this error message, which I think has to do with the XMLHttpRequest:

[Error] Failed to load resource: The network connection was lost. (hof-van-waelsicht-oeverpark_1920.jpg, line 0)

Safari also tells me “Failed to load resource: The network connection was lost.”

This does not happen in other browsers. I don’t get any other error messages in the console.

I tried it on safari following the given link in "Steps to Reproduce" and the images are appearing fine there. Regarding the error, you may give the below link a try: https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/apple-safari-browsers-fail-to-connect/3731/4
