That slider in the codepen starts automatically on page load for me in Chrome and Firefox on macOS.

Can it be a browser or computer issue? I have a similar issue where anchor links do not scroll and instantly jump. How can I check it locally?

It's definitely an issue on your end, because the autoplay option works as intended in all major browsers. Try to figure out with the browser dev tools what's causing it.

Works for me too in IOS Safari, Chrome, Edge and FF. Can't reproduce.

Doesn't work for me too - desktop, Windows 11, Chrome, Firefox, Edge. On mobile (iPhone 12) is working without problems (Safari and Chrome).

Same here - also the codepen by OP doesn't autoplay for me. Tested in FF 112.0.2 & 113.0 as well as Chrome 112.0.5615.138 Works on Chrome Mobile on Android.

My tests:

Linux Chrome - Works Linux Firefox - Works Windows Chromium - Does not Work (no errors) Windows Edge - Does not work (no errors)

I think my issue is the windows machine is a Citrix session, maybe related to #1092

When I refresh There are times when autoplay does not work. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't. It's random.
