[BUG] [Windows] Changes in 6.11.0 break compatibility with Quick Accent in Microsoft PowerToys
Describe the bug Some change in 6.11.0 breaks compatibility with Quick Accent in Microsoft PowerToys. Quick Accent allows pressing and holding the key for a letter—and many other characters—and the configured choice of left/right, space, or all three to select accented characters, alternate characters, etc. This makes it much easier to do things like type characters with diacritics for other languages when using a keyboard that doesn't otherwise readily support them, but also easily typing things like ellipses, em-dashes, ³, ¾ and many other things.
This functionality worked just fine in 6.10.0, and can be restored by returning to that version.
To Reproduce Install PowerToys and enable Quick Accent, making note of the configured key for using it. Press a letter key in the Dorion chat window and, while holding it, press the configured activation key from Quick Accent to make the selection menu for alternate characters pop up.
System Info (please complete the following information):
- OS Version: Windows 11
- Version: Enterprise
- Extra Client Mods and Plugins: Tested with all mods and plugins disabled
- Any other relevant info: None
My guess is that the new keybinds system (#350) eats/captures the inputs in way that causes issues, so you'll have to stick to 6.10.0 until this is fixed
