Advanced Search pop-up window for Collecting Event in CSD

When I am using CSD task and adding a collecting event, it would be helpful to have an Advanced Search option that could filter the collecting event out better. To avoid adding a collecting event that already exists into TW, I typically enter the date of the collecting event from the verbatim label into the search bar in the Collecting Event section. Sometimes it will not show me events that I am searching for are in TW. I spend a lot of time parsing out fields in collecting event section only to get hit with the notification that this collecting event already exists, after it did not show up in the drop down list when I tried to search for it the first time.

Maybe creating an Advanced Search button that would open into a pop up window and let you filter by date, collector, geographic area specifically then filter out events with those criteria, allow you to choose it and move on with the rest of CSD task. Many results are truncated in the list that the search bar comes up with.
