This issue will be updated periodically with known issues and planned features.
Known issues
- WinRing0 (which YAMDCC uses for EC access) is being flagged as malware. See this discussion for more information.
- A rare bug causes fans in the laptop to be set to a high/max speed when applying settings (such as when waking the laptop from sleep).
- Likely caused by the OS (or other programs) trying to access the EC at the same time as YAMDCC, and as such will likely be impossible to fully fix.
- The EC monitor (and potentially other operations that involve the EC) rarely fails and produces EC read/write errors (#70.
- Likely related to the above issue.
- YAMDCC's updater can be unreliable sometimes, as seen in this issue, for example. Since v1.1 Beta 5, these issues should be less common, as the actual installation is handled by Inno Setup now.
