[Alpha v14.0] - Connection Requests Bulk Update Block Odd Behavior
Prerequisites
- [X] Put an X between the brackets on this line if you have done all of the following:
- Did you perform a search at https://github.com/issues?q=is%3Aissue+user%3ASparkDevNetwork+-repo%3ARock to see if your bug or enhancement is already reported?
- Can you reproduce the problem on a fresh install or the demo site?
- Did you include your Rock version number and client culture setting?
Description
In the new Connection Requests Bulk Update block, after completing a bulk update, you are redirected right back to the same bulk update page. The bulk update is completed successfully, however you are unaware of this because no confirmation message is given and you are right back where you started. The first time this happened, it left me wondering if the bulk update was even successful.

Steps to Reproduce
- Go to the Connection Request Board (in list view) and select a few Connection Requests to bulk update.
- Proceed to bulk update page.
- Change any setting - does not matter, and click "Update".
- Click "Confirm" on the next page.
- Find yourself right back on the bulk update page wondering if your bulk update was successful.
Expected behavior:
I would expect to either a), be redirected back to the Connection Request Board page or b), be given some kind of confirmation message that the update was successful.
Actual behavior:
You find yourself right back on the bulk update page wondering if your bulk update was successful.
Versions
- Rock Version: [v14.0]

This is under internal review. When there are multiple requests selected -- which span multiple campuses -- then the Campus Filter is used to control which "set" is being operated on (since only one campus-set can be modified at one time). We are probably going to change that confirmation screen to a popup modal. After update is saved, the modal will show a success message. After closing the modal the individual can then use the "Cancel" button (which will be changed to the word "Back" after successful update). Or the individual can select the next campus set.
