Bug: Application hangs when restarting with update

What happened?

When "Restarting to Apply" an update older instance of SDMM hangs after opening a new SDMM window.

Reproduction

1. Run StrongDMM to find that an update is available to apply.
2. Click the "Restart to Apply" button.
3. Observe the new, updated SDMM opening fine, old one hanging.
