Chocolatey package?
Hi Thanks for making WebCord, it's faster than the original discord. But can you upload it to chocolatey package? https://community.chocolatey.org/packages
Chocolatey is an easy way to automatically update and install WebCord when a new version is available without having to visit the github page for windows like Flatpak on linux. Hope you make it and have a nice day.
I've seen an other Windows repository that had WebCord in its package list. However, I don't remember its name and can't find it.
As of Chocolatey, I heard about it, yet I don't know how to submit it and how should I mantain it (I prefer to not manually publish the releases). Like in case of Flathub, the community can publish WebCord whenever they want, as MIT exactly allows for doing that. You might however use a different name for the Application User Model ID (WebCord's default is SpacingBat3.WebCord).
I may also use a decentralised way to auto-update the application, the only problem is that Forge does not produce the executable names that would allow for the multiarch releases (so I would have to choose either ARM or X86 to support auto updates and the other ones would be packaged as ZIP archive), at least the last time I've checked that.
I found another repository like you said and it's Scoop, WebCord here:
https://scoop.sh/#/apps?q=WebCord&s=0&d=1&o=true
But I still hope you upload to chocolatey in the future because chocolatey now has a GUI, it's very easy to find and install the application: https://community.chocolatey.org/packages/ChocolateyGUI
