Being in a werepanther lunatic incantifier can not eat corpses and rations

Good day, is it a correct behavior? I started as a lunatic incantifier and now I am werepanther (naturally morphed without wands/traps) and I was expecting that werepanther could eat meat. I can not quite remember if original Slash'EM werepanthers can but I think so. Maybe it is a bug or I am missing something? This is Version 0.9.6. (thank you very much for releasing new version!)
