Pressing N to pass doesn't work

If you press N to pass an item, it doesn't pass to the nearest person to you but disappears into the void OR goes to ID 0. After this, it triggers a serverwide bug where ALL the players regardless of the distance of their position, when they press N the item they attempt to drop will always pass to ID 0.

How to reproduce: Pass ANY item to your teammate or person closest to you and it will disappear; triggering the bug where any item dropped by ANY player passes to ID 0 regardless of distance.
