Is there a way with this plugin to parse the other way also? from HTML to Slack markdown?

Heya! This package got developed to translate slack messages into matrix' html subset for bridging - and the bridge also translates the html subset that matrix uses back into slack markdown. While that is a specific markdown flavour, it might support everything you need. For that is the package matrix-slack-parser, please note that it takes matrix-formatted messages. you could trick it and quickly compile your own objects for that, or thelike, though.

EDIT: totally forgot that it also does slacks undocumented formatting blocks which bots and thelike can use, too
