Can't open serial monitor

First of all thanks for this amazing plugin! It is saving me so much time!

The only thing that I cannot get to work is the Serial Monitor. I don't get any error when I launch the command, but nothing opens up. :(

if I open the js consol I see this error:

Hey! Which arduino are you trying to use?

Does the serial monitor work via the arduino IDE?

I’m using a seeduino lotus. and yes, the serial monitor in the Arduino IDE works just as expected.
