Feature request: RIDE-style F3 search
The main feature preventing our teams from switching to SnowRIDE is the lack of F3-style search feature, to lookup texts and most importantly tags (with "tag1ANDtag2NOTtag3" syntax) inside the whole robotframework test project. Would it be possible to include that in SnowRide ?
RIDE has a "Search Tests by Tag" feature. I don't remember if it has the advanced boolean logic you described.
I agree fulltext search is useful, and Snowride has fulltext search in test names, keyword names, and suite names (using the Ctrl+N combo box) but the interface of RIDE/Snowride doesn't lend itself easily to that.
I will say that it would be much easier to include it in Snowride if you could write down a spec of how the feature should look/work ^^.
Here is the screenshot if the "Tag" subsection of RIDE F3 popup, I have no idea what the most elegant interface would be , but enabling an "include/exclude Tags" field(s) would be the most important point I guess ^^
Noted, thanks. The main issue is that currently Snowride doesn't have a way of displaying a list of tests, though I suppose that could be added as a new tab, with just the "include tag" and "exclude tag" boxes, similarly to how tags can be included/excluded in the Run tab.
