Changeling Hive/Cocoon Material

Perhaps changelings, either via a skill or by producing it over time like feathers, can wrap not only mobs, but cover and built things with a sticky block material that maybe only changelings can move through without getting stuck? We've seen this material in the show used to cocoon and trap other ponies, and Chrysalis can move along it without getting stuck, and we see in the comics that ponies who attempt to walk through it are trapped to the sticky material.

and as a fun little bonus, it'd be cool to have beds for changelings that resemble these cocoons, as a decorative item.

All in all, I think it could be a fun unique species block like the cloud block is.

I imagine building the block material and cocooning mobs could work kinda like how webbing does in the Spider Queen mod (which is by throwing web material at a mob to cocoon them or at an empty space more than once until it builds up from a carpet/vine-like object into a block ((optionally left as a carpet or vine-like object if desired)), which could be a spitting skill instead of throwing an item for the changelings), but with the option to pick them up and crawl up to a place on the ceiling and attach them there to dangle, optionally.
