Profile editing - I cannot enter my birthdate

When trying to enter my birthday using the keyboard, I can enter the day and month but never the year. The most I could enter was 19 which shows the as 0019. I was able to enter the correct date using the date-picker, but it is rather tedious having to scroll from year 1 to my birthyear.
