Show workspace name/path instead of (randomly generated) ID

Currently, when selecting a workspace for creating new "thing", the workspaces are shown as their IDs:

This is very confusing, especially when you have multiple workspaces. AFAIK, there is no place to configure the display name of workspaces.

It would be most ideal to allow users to specify the workspace names. If not yet easy to implement, showing the workspace path (or part of the path) would also be very useful (maybe along with the ID).
