OrcaSlicer Version

2.2 beta daily build

Operating System (OS)

macOS

OS Version

14.5 Sonoma

Additional system information

intel-based Mac

Printer

Bambu P1s with AMS

How to reproduce

  1. Load AMS slots 1, 3, and 4 with different filaments. LEAVE SLOT 2 EMPTY.
  2. Load any object into any project.
  3. Select your printer in the device tab, configure the filaments so they are correct.
  4. Select the prepare tab. Select ReSync filaments with AMS.
  5. Right click the object to be printed, select the filament you put in AMS slot 3.
  6. Slice the object, and select print.
  7. The print confirmation dialog shows AMS Slot 1 to be used for this print, which is not correct. It should be AMS 3.
  • The only way to keep it from printing in the wrong filament is to remove the filament from SLOT 1, or move the other filaments over so that there is something in slot 2, and the empty slot is at the end.
    • There is also an issue that the color of the object in the preview window is wrong, but that issue is already logged elsewhere. This is a separate problem.

Actual results

Slot 1 is selected in the print preview, not slot 3.

Expected results

Slot 3 should be selected, as it was in the project.
