When one user disconnects, all users are disconnected

Hello,

We're having the following problem: when one user disconnects, all users are disconnected. This doesn't happen when tested locally, but it does happen in our dev/staging environment, which is a single worker node running on docker behind an AWS Application Load Balancer.

Any ideas on how to fix?
