Okay, I just found out that `pyrap` no longer exists; it was apparently replaced by [`python-casacore`](https://github.com/casacore/python-casacore). I will have to look at the implications of this change.
Following the discussion at this week’s source finding telecon, it would appear that there are two possible ways forward that we should consider: 1. We could use the `image2fits` tool...
**Update:** SoFiA 2 now will include the user parameter settings in the history section of the header of all output FITS files produced by the pipeline (see 8dd0160d0a8df2ef3abd566b1476a01365d7fca4).
NumPy 1.9 would be sufficient to remove all of our current workarounds, so my suggestion would be to only require 1.9 at this stage. 1.10 was released on 6 October...
I can’t quite reproduce your result. My w₂₀ and w₅₀ are in units of m/s when I run SoFiA on the test data cube. However, looking at the source code,...
Excellent idea!
**Update:** Lines of constant log(n_pix) = 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been added to the plot (see 02aa195d7fe6c12eeac4064e674d073b0aa5a8af), but they still need to be labelled. SNR lines are still...
Labels have been added to `n_pix` lines (see 14092be0eb08aa96a3a06a5b757ed3a3e7aee838). I am unsure about adding further SNR lines in addition to the one that is already there, as the plot is...
Following the discussion at our telecon yesterday, I had a look at the source code to enable writing of the global SNR map. Indeed, the SNR map can be created...
While this would be possible, it would be a major headache, as we currently discard the noise-normalised cube in favour of reloading the original cube for parameterisation. Perhaps we can...
