i get my 2nd rig next week which is built from AMD GPUs instead of NVIDIA ;) wanted to test multiple rig setups...
I looked at the code in SNIFFDOG and it seems it will run with -Type amd [Array]$Type = $null, #AMD/NVIDIA/CPU
any one is running the SDM on AMD ?

I have no AMD cards but I can place it into Sniffdog for those who want to enable it
That would be great. I want to run MPH on a RX580 rig and whatever I'm using is crashing on the machine. I want to try this out and report to you how it goes. I would greatly appreciate it and Happy New Year to you.

Add AMD to startsniffin.bat after Type: NVIDIA,CPU,AMD
I suggest only using -Type AMD and not the rest for your AMD rig

Working fine for the last half an hour. I'm only mining to MPH getting decent rates. For some reason, GPU0 isn't dishing out any hashes so I'm trying to figure that one out. Thanks, Sniffdog.

Just received my RIG AMD 470 8GB...
Sniffdog seems to run only 1 algo: Lyra2z :( strange becaue nicehash seems to run fine (running: DaggerHashimoto, Decred, Lbry, Pascal, Sia & Skunk)
strange... @Sniffdog what now? other setups/benchmarks to run? running 3.5... which is the master copy?
@bigtraz john, whats your rig setup? which algo are running for you?
I couldn't get Sniffdog to run stable on my rig. I switched to MultiPoolMinerV2.7.1.3 and slowly got rid of the miners that were causing the crashes and its stable now. I'm running my rig with the latest crimson drivers installed. I could've done the same thing with sniffdog but maybe panicked and moved away too quickly as the rig was disturbing my sleep. Since then I've switched from gaming mode to computing on the driver software and reduced my power to 75% and jacked up the mem clock to 2150 (stock is at 2000). The only thing I havent tried is to mod the bios on the cards. Honestly, this is the last time I'm buying AMD cards. I just cant tweak them to hash decent rates. The hash rate I'm getting from mining Ether is laughable at 25MH/s on each of my 7 RX580 8G for the money I spent on these cards. I actually received an ethminer crash error when I went to take this screenshot. Watchdog got the script up and running again.
@Sniffdog sorry I didn't post back to you earlier. I didn't see your response. What do you think I should do to stabilize your miner to work properly and dish out at least 30-32mh/s on each card? I see this hashrate all over the net for my cards but I cant achieve these numbers and it's driving me bonkers. If I can pinpoint this, then buying RX580 8G cards would be worth the money.

So far its sustaining but I want to move back to sniffdog if I can get all the AMD miners in Sniffdog to work.
@Sniffdog, do you think the intensity levels are causing the cards to crash the miners? I didnt see any legit errors in sniffdogs logs or eventviewer to troubleshoot so I just gave up and said fuck it.
@bigtraz John, will need to rerun all algos seperatly...
True this is my last AMD Rig ever! Way to slow (but cheaper) and only 5 algos instead of 20... only 115 Mh/s or $18 USD/Day :( my x6 1070 runs now at $35 USD/Day

@frederikvanduuren Do you want a copy of the miner I am using to test on your rig? I think I stabilized it. I'm going to re-benchmark it and give you an update. There're 25 miners so it will take 50 minutes. After the benchmarking is done, I increase the switching prevention to 15 minutes. I'll keep you posted.

@Sniffdog OK im benchmarking with it right now. BTW, its multipoolminer, not SniffDog. Id love for someone to try it on a X7 RX580 8G Samsung rig and share benchmarks with me if possible. I couldnt get SniffDog to run stable whatever I did. I almost threw the rig in my pool. ;)
@bigtraz would love to see your copy :) thanx mine are RX470 8 gb and running NiceHash with great success funny because Sniffdof runs much better on my NVIDIAs ;)
