[Feature Request] Lock metadata in Kavita

Metadata added to Kavita via the API is lost when a scan occurs, so would it be possible to have an option to lock the metadata?

I know this is extremely old, but if you're loosing metadata in-between scans, you have an issue with your setup and should reach out to Kavita support for help.
