That doesn't really change anything. I t only resolves it on his machine, and not on other peoples. Since skids are dumb by definition, I'll think, we should change the default option to nuitka.

Skids... But you should still probably still set the default option to nuitka or pyinstaller.

by default it isn't .py. that's what people choose and i can't really stop them
