Wallpaper colors not matching the actual image

I tried using swww and swaybg and both work, but the colors are just... kinda off. See the images below.

I wonder if this is a full-range vs limited-range thing on the drm connector possibly. Does this happen if you run niri/cosmic-comp nested on another desktop? Is it just wallpapers or look some apps also off?

Occurs in nested sessions too. I haven't noticed any of the apps I use being off so it's probably just a wallpaper thing, not entirely sure though.
