CPOL CPHA swap, NSS pin not setup

While setting CPOL and CPHA via SPISettings , swapped setup is adjusted(esp. SPI_MODE1,2) . NSS output pin is not setup (PIN_FUNC_SELECT(PERIPHS_IO_MUX_MTDO_U, 2) is missing in SPIClass::begin().
