No thumbnails generated on s3

Referencing issue: #503

My other media files are served! Only thumbnails are never served and I checked to see that they were not created. I checked on s3 directly.

Or to rephrase, what do I still need to serve the thumbnail media files? Is there a special setting to setup thumbnail media? (other media is served)

You need to make sure that THUMBNAIL_DEFAULT_STORAGE is set to your S3BotoStorage backend class, otherwise it will save the thumbnails to your local media directory.
