Manual sorting resets after a scheduled category changes goes live

Preconditions

Magento Version : Magento 2 commerce 2.4.3 ElasticSuite Version : 2.10.8.1 Environment : Production Third party modules :

• Magento's data migration tool
• Mailchimp
• Mollie
• Xtento Product Export
• Amasty Labels & promo
• Ampersant disable stock reservation
• DPD shipping module
• Smile Store Delivery

Steps to reproduce

On a category with assigned products enable manual sorting with a few products. Next schedule a change to happen later the day, it can be anything. -> After the update the manual sorting is gone on the category.

Expected result

The configured manual sorting should persist trough scheduled changes
