Installation files icons

Some installation file icons are not displayed for all files in the in-built file picker:

For comparison, here's a screenshot from another application:

This may be due to the resolution of the icon itself.

Apps: Android 10 Package Manager v5.1

But, I think its not because of the resolution, but the File picker working hard (and eventually failed) to load the proper icon for some files. Fortunately, it is not affecting the main functionality. I'm adding an enhancement tag to this issue with the hope to solve it in future.

Isn't it only on some split APK's, right? Some of them genuinely do not have an icon. How about normal APK's (looks fine here)?

Not. These are APK files.

Hmmm … For me, the appropriate icon for the installation file is not displayed. We still don't know where the problem is.

This is really strange. By the way, you're not alone on this (original) issue. While the APK icon loading was perfect on Android 11 (Lineage OS), it seems to have problems on Android 10 especially with APK's that are not installed. Screenshot_20210914-100653
