Midori Lite rogue fork
Sorry about opening another discussion that is not directly development-relates, but as code-reuse without adequate backlinking and contributing was a topic here in the past I wanted to make sure you are aware of it.

It seems like Astian Inc just cloned Styx code, removed all mentioning of it's parent projects, changed the color and logo and published it as "Midori Lite" in PlayStore. I came across this when looking for new Open Source Projects and immediately recognized this browser from their screenshots. They present it as their own work, claim it is open source, but the repository they link to seems to contain their old and different android browser (which also seems weirdly familiar) which is still downloadable in f-droid. Really fishy and weird behavior, as I see their Midori Browser for Linux recommended fairly often in open source forums...
Really shady and levels above the past discussion about forks that give too little credit, which alone made fulguris think loudly about taking some legal action... I suppose this is not done in accordance with Fulguris/Styx?
Sure isn't. I ought to ask Google to take it down.
I sent a DMCA complaint to Google from there: https://support.google.com/legal/contact/lr_dmca?product=googleplay
Let's see what happens.
It is a copy of the Styx Browser. You can see that immediately from the images.
This browser is based on a very old version of the Styx browser.
I just posted the following one start review on their Google Play page:
This is a rogue branch of Fulguris which is in breach of multiple open source licenses including Fulguris CPAL. Please fix this ASAP. Publish the source code and display "⚡ Powered by Fulguris" prominently on every application start with a clickable link to the Fulguris project page.
I left a comment as well. Maybe if there are enough, we can get Google to check faster :)
