May, 2018, update (v.6.2.2) is VERY different
The latest update (6.2.2) appears to include extensive changes.
SUITS:
- Suits now provide three pieces (hat, jacket, pants)
- Each piece of a Suit provides a different bonus
- Suit pieces can mixed and matched, but when all three parts of a single suit are equipped, they provide an additional boost
- Suit pieces appear to be able to be purchased / won multiple times (e.g. the "Tip-Top Top Hat" when equipped is listed as "1/50") -- as with Badges (see below), I would speculate that each additional "copy" of a piece of a suit will boost its bonus
UPGRADES:
- Cash Upgrades on Earth that had originally cost Earth Bucks then cost Mega Bucks now appear to cost Earth Bucks again; it's unclear whether Upgrades that had been purchased with Mega Bucks (and thus were "permanent") will be automatically awarded after a reset now that they cost Earth Bucks again
- Unknown yet if Cash Upgrades and Angel Upgrades are the same as before
BADGES:
- All badges won in events now have some effect (no longer just the "best" badge): some boost the base speed of an investment, some boost the base profit of an investment, some boost the Ad Watch bonus in a particular event
- Badges can be won multiple times -- as with Suits, I'd speculate that the more times a badge has been won, the greater its boost will become
- Up to 3 badges can be equipped at a time
I will try to work on a complete list of what the badges and suit pieces that I have do at their "level 1" sometime this weekend.
I will also look at Cash and Angel Upgrade lists, costs, profits, and cycle times when I get a chance.
Badges are sorted into four different "categories" (for want of a better term): "Magnate", "Mogul", "Executive", and "Entrepreneur".
"Magnate" badges boost profits of certain businesses on the main planets; "Mogul" badges boost the speed of certain businesses on the main planets; "Executive" badges boost "Ad Watch bonus" in certain events; "Entrepreneur" badges boost either the profit or the speed of certain businesses in events.
EDIT: Not entirely true: I just won a "Super Star Badge" from the Cashella event. It is "Mogul" category but "Adds a 75% boost to your Profit Booster in the Cashella event".

Below is the information I have about suits. When all pieces of a given suit are equipped, there is an additional bonus. Sometimes that's more Gold or more Mega Bucks; most often it's a boost to the boosts provided by the pieces themselves.

Music Badge level 2 = 62.5% boost to base speed of Food Fighters in Cashella (level 1 was 50%)
Sound Badge level 2 = x2.25 boost to Ad Watch bonus in Cashella (level 1 was x2)
Acoustic Badge level 2 = 570% boost to speed of Newspaper Deliveries on Earth (level 1 was 500%)
Drums Badge level 2 = x20 boost to profit of Terrorformers on Mars (level 1 was x15)
Max level of "Entrepreneur" badges is 50 Max level of "Executive" badges is 40 Max level of "Mogul" badges is 30 Max level of "Magnate" badges is 20
Also note: Badges which multiply profits are in addition to the base profit.
So if you have a (hypothetical) business making $1,000 per cycle and you equip a badge that is "x15 profit" for that business, the business will be making $16,000 per cycle (not $15,000).
The "additional bonus" when all three pieces of a suit are equipped does not actually appear to be in effect. I have equipped all three pieces of the "Blushing Tuxedo". Each piece gives "1.5% bonus per Angel on Earth". There's a note that having all three pieces equipped "adds a 1.5x bonus to the effect of each matching set piece." That should mean that I get a total of 6.75% Angel bonus; however, the Investor section shows I'm only getting 4.5%.
ETA: I contacted HyperHippo and they replicated the issue and will work on a bug fix.
ETA: Has been corrected in that Blushing Tuxedo pieces now apply a 1% boost per piece with a 1.5x bonus when all three are equipped.
Something seems to have changed with some badges that boost base profit. From the beginning, I was getting what was stated on the badge, now I'm only getting a fraction of it (at least on Earth; haven't looked at other planets).

Something did change. It appears that with the initial release, the boost was being applied to current profit. They changed it to apply to the base profit.
So if you have a planet multiplier along with a badge multiplier then the resulting current profit for the business with a badge is:
(base profit) * (planet multiplier + badge multiplier) * (unlocks and upgrades)

While the addition of a full interface for selecting from all possible suits and badges would be excellent, I believe that a great first step would be to allow a method for manually applying the effects of them. It's already possible to do a few of them manually:
- A boost to the ad watching bonus amount can be applied by manually adjusting the multiplier under "Other Bonuses".
- The same is true for a badge that boosts your % bonus per angel.
- The "Gold/Platinum Upgrades + Suits" section allows you to enter a number of Flux Capatilors owned, this should be something that could be extended to allow users to manually enter any amount of planet-wide speed boost, such as the x2 speed boost on Earth granted by watching ads (no number of Flux Capatilors will result in a boost of exactly 2x).
So, really, the most significant improvement that could be quickly implemented (without needing to gather a bunch of data) would be to add a couple of additional columns to the table at the top, to allow manual entry of profit boost and speed boost on each individual business.
