Option to choose which version a user is playing?

While looking into the issues regarding the Mega Bucks upgrades showing up in the Cash Upgrades lists on Earth, I decided to fire up my old Kongregate game and see what I could find there. I found that it differs from Steam, and I've read that the Facebook version differs significantly as well. I'm not sure how the mobile versions stack up against Steam.

Is there any benefit to having an option to let people choose which version they're playing and then tailor the available upgrades appropriately? Or are there so few people playing on Kong / Facebook that it's not worth it?

I'm not finding any differences between the Android and Steam versions as far as upgrades. (x2 ads and +7% Kong angel bonus on Android notwithstanding)

I received a reply from HH that all upgrade costs should be the same across platforms. Although the Kong web version is ancient and I've read the Facebook version differs as well. It's probably not worth the effort to deal with the differences for Kong and Facebook.
