[Suggestion] Offhand use for Conduit Probe, Inventory to CP, and Stack Upgrade

Open Thunder-Nova opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

Simple suggestion reguarding the Conduit Probe, since it can copy a configuration of a conduit, how about if placed offhand, all conduits placed will get the copied config.

But instead of simply just copy, can manually edit the Conduit Probe.

Plus if possible that to add an inventory to Conduit Probe for upgrades such as speed upgrades to add to the conduits.

Then there is stack upgrades, an upgraded version of the speed upgrade but will only take stacks, no less.

This is pretty much keeping the speed upgrade a valid option. Yet stack upgrades very much useful for high productive systems ans machines.

(Exemple: In StoneBlock modpack I used 12 Rows of 4 Roosts filled with 16 emerald chickens each, added with 5 activated dark pedestals with watch of flowing time at each row (15 speed upgrades can't keep up))

Stack upgrade speed varies in quantity same as speed upgrades.

(Thx for noticing)

Reading thru the comments on other suggestions and saw your link to the website http://ideas.theideawall.com/EnderIO/Forum/Details/

Saw this post similar to this about the conduit probe http://ideas.theideawall.com/EnderIO/Forum/TopicDetails/0676b5ce-f1b4-462e-9132-bd8219f837a4

Didn't seem a possible outcome. Gonna see if I could get a swing to see if I can make the idea more plausible.

I'll be honest, a lot of newer mods have started using the offhand slow when placing things to change how they are placed, and figured that EiO had the same functionality. Went on to place and edit 512 item fluid and gas conduits by hand :C
