Commands on dialogs

Execution of commands on each line of dialogs

Example:

  • "Hey, look, it will be sunny"
  • "finger snap" / weather clear
  • "Tadam!"

This is really needed to make dynamic dialogues with special effects. Please consider adding it, thanks!

🌟 Fantastic feature request! I believe adding the ability to execute commands within dialogue lines could offer tremendous interactive possibilities. Imagine being able to prompt specific player actions like a head turn at just the right narrative beat or managing chat flow with an external plugin—starting dialogue sequences with chat blocked and unlocking it upon completion. This could elevate our control over the storytelling and engagement elements within the game, making for a much more immersive and controlled environment. Really hope to see this implemented!

The reason I have not yet implemented such a thing is because I would like to add more than just commands and sounds to dialogs messages, by making the system really modular. Unfortunately this require a big dialog overhaul (which I'll probably use to implement choices in dialog as well).
