Vines too strong
All the vine buffs made them way too hard to destroy, one that was fought relatively early on managed to still be harder to kill than a typical blob was. They have too much HP and all it took was for it to mutate fireproof and it was already nearly impossible to take down, but it spreads way too fast even without mutations and all the new buff mutations make it go out of control very quickly.
Vines are supposed to be a mildly annoying threat but right now they're as dangerous as a proper Blob, which is way too much for what really shouldn't be that nasty. Having to call shuttle over vines is not something the event should be spurring the shuttle to come on a regular basis unless someone left them alone for a good half an hour.

Right, and it can grow mutations to make literally every option useless, given the time. Damaging vines to kill Pete, resistance to plant-b-gone, resistance to brute (there's even a melee reflection mutation now), vines that just warp you so you get spaced or deep within dangerous vines that kill you, electric vines so you can't even hit them without yellows, etc etc.
More to the point, the vines grow way too fucking fast and mutate faster and even with a large team of 15 or so crew, the vines still won in the end.
