Aidoku is just an image reader, and doesn't have support for pdfs. It should probably just not display pdf chapters or something so there's no confusion.
does this always happen for you? which manga? the source works fine for me

Do you have any other notification tweaks installed?
Could you try temporarily disabling all your tweaks with iCleaner to see if your problem still occurs?

I should probably look into toggling the wallpaper separate from the dark mode, so I can do more stuff like this.
