Bug: Breadcrumbs Suddenly Stopped Indexing Relationships

Describe the bug I have been using Breadcrumbs (gleefully) for about a month. Have had no issues until today, when Breadcrumbs suddenly stopped indexing any relationships. I have made no changes to my note structure (only added additional notes while working today.)

This morning, Breadcrumbs was working as expected. Currently, at 1pm, it's not.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Refresh BC Matrix in the Sidebar Result: blank sidebar

Expected behavior I expect to see the standard Matrix of relationships I normally see in the sidebar.

• MacOS: Monterey 12.4
• Obsidian: v0.14.6
• Breadcrumbs: 3.3.1

Additional context I have restarted Obsidian to no avail.

UPDATE: I did a clean install of Obsidian and the issue has not been resolved.

Additionally, uninstalled and reinstalled Breadcrumbs. Also, no resolution.

Mine has just done the same thing. I had done an automatic update all plugins earlier today, not sure if that was the trigger or not though. I just tried replacing the plugin files from 3.2 to 3.1 and restarting obsidian to no effect.

Edit: After trying a couple more older versions, I read the message in the discord about the patch update, so i updated back to that one just to try again. While doing that I noticed that a new dataview update had come up as well.

Now that both are back up to date, everything seems to be working again 🤷‍♂️

Well, the BC sidepanel is now showing information again, but I am having another significant issue. In the main note pane, above the frontmatter is a BC panel, which normally says something like, "this file has no parent". Unfortunately, what's happening now is that every new note created comes pre-linked to a note from elsewhere in my database; this connection cannot be removed or reconfigured.

Currently, this is how every new note appears in Obsidian:

Also have the same issue. All community plug ins are up to date including Breadcrumbs, though when I go to the Breadcrumbs community page, the "Update" button is available. When I click the update version, it does not update and remains at version 3.3.1. I have restarted Obsidian multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled Breadcrumbs.
