PHP Selector for Ubuntu 16.04

Can you do this to work on Ubuntu as well? I really liked the idea. If you can, please answer me.

This work in same way in ubuntu but, you need compile your own php

You need a repos to do it, witout good repos as remi repo you need install php manually

So, you can do a script and compile php in ubuntu and php selector will work in same way.

The problem is one, if you need update php version you need compile again, but all can be solved with easy script to do it alll in automated way
