Something is wrong with your OS settings, what version is it? And I cannot find attached log files you mentioned.

Hi,

OS is Windows 7. I don't have any log files, it might be in original template sentence.

The window is not supposed to scroll.

I can see another issue with path which seems to be in invalid format, must be E:\Sitecore data downloads\8.2.2.

Is it a virtual machine?

AlenPelin avatar Aug 31 '17 03:08 AlenPelin

Path is not a problem, just I cannot input required field. That is a problem.

Yes, my environment is on Citrix. I tried two screen resolution but it did not work.

What is host OS?

AlenPelin avatar Aug 31 '17 03:08 AlenPelin

Host OS? I heard it is running on ESX-i Hypervisor, we have management tool v-Sphere6.0.

Thanks for the info.

SIM was not designed to work in the conditions you specified, so all interfaces must be reviewed and fixed accordingly. Unfortunately we do not have similar equipment and therefore I cannot fix it.

If you need to make it work, feel free to fix it yourself and then send pull request.

AlenPelin avatar Aug 31 '17 04:08 AlenPelin

Wow, do you have any idea to fix this problem? I want some guidance to fix problem since I am not a native UI developer.

It should be possible to fix it by adding ScrollViewer: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6250240/how-to-add-a-scrollbar-to-a-stackpanel

You can start from xaml controls in setup pipeline: https://github.com/Sitecore/Sitecore-Instance-Manager/tree/develop/src/SIM.Tool.Windows/UserControls/Setup

Hi Alen,

It seems enough information if I could work on it although I don't have very urgent need to install Sitecore onto this environment.

Many thanks.

Hi Alen,

I can confirm that I am also experiencing this issue on Sim 1.5.

OS name: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version: 10.0.17763

This is stock Windows 10 running natively on my home development machine.

Thanks,

Lachlan
