And BTW you should at first try kalliope :) I keep this issue opened because I still want to create a neuron to get one shot info from a broker...
The "desired moment" is handled by a signal called "event" . Please read the doc, play with kalliope and then we'll talk about enhancement. Thanks.
Technically it would be possible. But, from my point of view, a such feature would take time to process. And so the final result would not looks fluid enough deserve...
When I said it's technically possible I meant that it would be possible to implement it. So far it's not possible.
I leave the issue opened. Will see later if it's a must have feature. So far we do have a lot of refactoring in progress.
The problem here is that the python pip package ue swig to compile on the fly the binary. It takes some time on Rpi. Also, the package needs swig 3.0.10....

It would be better to create a snap package. https://snapcraft.io/ I'll try to dig into this soon.
