Cannot join paper/spigot/purpur servers

Describe the bug

Client with connector mod installed can't join spigot/paper/purpur servers, even with no mods besides connector

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install minecraft 1.21.1, neoforge 21.1.115, connector beta 6, forgified fabric api 0.107.0+2.0.23
  2. Try to join a spigot/paper/purpur 1.21.1 server
  3. Invalid payload register error Image

Vanilla 1.21.1 servers still work, only mod installed was connector and forgified fabric api, without anything else
