Crash with some item in Blockus

Describe the bug

the game crashes when rendering some items

Steps to reproduce

  1. add connector, ffapi, and blockus to your mods folder
  2. start the game create a new creative world
  3. open creative inventory and go to blockus natural tab image
  4. the game will crash

I suspect it's a issue with the ffapi implementation of the fabric rendering api

the issue does remain on the latest version of blockus 2.9.4+1.21.1

It's the hedges specifically that's crashing this mod. This is preset in the latest current version for 1.21.1 (2.9.9)
