Blinking Read-Only cursor flag option

Hi, Currently Overwrite and Insert cursor blink by default, would it be possible to request a flag to specify the blinking status of the read-only cursor? Greatly increases usability when using small fonts, allows the user to quickly spot the cursor location. Thank you.
