P1 start Single session > P2 join > Switch Profile prompt leads to softlock with Preferred Style set to 1 Player

Steps to reproduce

  1. ~~Have no profile set as P2 default~~ Have the "Preferred Style" Simple Play option set to "1 Player" obraz
  2. Start a Single session as P1
  3. On Songwheel, press P2 Start to join
  4. Press L+R and enter the Switch Profile menu

Result: No P2 profile select panel is shown, resulting in a softlock exitable only by service menu obraz

(Pictured is Zarzob's fork but this behaviour also exists on vanilla ITGmania SL)

Thanks for the bug report and the repro steps! Late join is such a pain but I'll see if I can think of something.

Hmm, I'm unable to reproduce this issue.

@marysiamzawka, can you enable Lua error logging and attach a screenshot of the error that presumably occurs at the time of softlock? Either:

A. set ShowThemeErrors=1 in Preferences.ini, or B. hold F3 and tap F6 to show the theming menu, then hold F3 and tap 8 to enable "Show Theme Errors"

If a Lua errors occurs, it will appear at the top of the StepMania window in a blue-green box.

OK Sorry, there was an error in my testing. Having no P2 profile chosen has nothing to do with this issue, this is all about having the "Preferred Style" option set to 1 player (this doesn't occur with any other option). obraz
