One thing I have missed from this and other SMS apps:

Select a whole conversation, with multiple messages, and do something with it in another app.

I have in mind

  • copy

  • Android share

  • save to file

In each case, To/From and timestamp should be included, In HTML or JSON or file format, attachments could be encoded.

Simple-SMS-Messenger has a feature to select multiple messages, but ... I see no way to do something with the selected messages. I imagine a menu with some options (e.g. "Select All", "Copy", "Share").

For this capability alone, I would replace the factory app with Simple-SMS-Messenger.
