The application crashes after deleting the SMS

Open Ilya-Ezhik opened this issue 2 years ago • 8 comments

After opening an incoming SMS from the curtain and deleting it, the application crashes, instead of going to the general list of messages. When you try to enter it again through the menu of running applications, an "unknown error" appears.

Phone: Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, Android 13, One Core UI 5.1 /

Always the latest (5.18.2 at this moment)

can you reproduce it reliably?

can you reproduce it reliably?

Yes, of course. Where can I upload a screenrecord with a problem? I wrote email to Simple Tools and I attached a video with an error - there was no response

recording doesnt help there, will take a look at the crashdumps

Good. The problem is, I can't write the crash log myself, because my phone doesn't have root. I have received a reply from you to my email. I just sent the screen recording in it. I really hope to fix the problem

I checked the operation of the application on another phone (Samsung Galaxy S8+) - there is the same problem with closing the application and an error. So the problem is in the app, not in the phone.

In the latest version of the application, the old crash problem remains, but another one has been added: if you open an incoming SMS from the curtain and click on the “back” arrow there, then instead of going to the list of all chats, the application also crashes. Opening it again through the running menu and again clicking on the back arrow, it crashes again. You can play this way endlessly. This has never happened before
